It has blackberry, blueberry and anise aromas. Upfront, fruit flavors are of luscious, ripe strawberry and blackberry. Further back on the palate it offers a hint of almonds and a rich espresso note toward the finish. The wine ages 16 months in French oak barrels and matures for a few months in the bottle, prior to release.

This classy red is notable for the supple texture as much as the cherry, plum, loam, mineral and spice flavors. Dense, vibrant and complex, with fine balance and a long, fruity, minerally aftertaste. Sangiovese and Merlot. Best from 2026 through 2045. 3,000 cases made, 875 cases imported.
