Sagrantino di Montefalco

A meaty and structured red with a firm backbone of tannins and rich fruit character. Full-bodied, deep and complex, with good fruit concentration and length. Very attractive cherries, dried blood oranges, chocolate and spices. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

A fragrant version, offering notes of sweet spices, leather and graphite, this is firmed by dense, fine-grained tannins, with plumped cherry, black raspberry paste, tobacco and bay leaf flavors slowly revealed as they expand on the palate. Decant or cellar in the short term. Best from 2027 through 2032. 1,760 cases made, 500 cases imported.

A firm, fragrant red, offering a core of dense tannins enmeshed with flavors of dried black cherry and plum skin, with an overtone of caraway seed and bay leaf aromatics. Hints of tar, spices and smoke play on the finish. Best after 2027. 1,670 cases made, 500 cases imported.
