A concentrated, medium- to full-bodied red, with ripe, juicy flavors of blackberry and mulberry boosted by a rich minerally streak and bright acidity. Shows good equilibrium -- focused without being weighty -- and a fragrant range of hot stone and iron, ground anise and black pepper, medicinal herb and floral notes.
