This Mosel Auslese is a great classic, with a huge concentration of apricot and caramelized mandarin-orange aromas. Fantastic clarity and balance on the medium- to full-bodied palate that shines like a gem stone. Then come stunning elegance and brilliance at the extremely long, refined finish. Sometimes high-end Auslese like this can have a lot of mushroomy character in their youth, but this is already so pure. Limited production. Drink or hold.
