There's a wealth of waxy, smoky density and salty concentration in this late-release version. Apple, green plum and verbena are flecked with sun tea and honey, which adds appealing warmth, all set against bitter white tea tannins that provide real structure. Shows a hint of brioche on the finish, which hums with tension. Drink now through 2030. 375 cases imported.

Ver maisLocalizada na margem direita do Loire, em frente a Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé produz exclusivamente vinhos brancos com Sauvignon Blanc em solos calcários e sílex (silex). O terroir de sílex confere aos vinhos sua característica nota "fumée" (defumada) que dá nome à appellation, criando brancos minerais, elegantes e complexos. Com 1.200 hectares, os vinhos apresentam maior estrutura e longevidade que muitos Sauvignon Blancs, combinando a vivacidade aromática da uva com a profundidade mineral única deste terroir histórico do Vale do Loire.
