With Pojega we try to avoid any overripe character or jamminess, the philosophy is to make a classic Valpolicella Ripasso. The 2013 is in this style; floral and fruit rich on the nose, medium bodied on the palate with concentration but no heaviness

Packs a fragrant thread of baking spice, crushed pine and orange peel notes that wind through steeped cherry and raspberry fruit. This medium- to full-bodied version is dark and juicy, with chalky tannins firming the finish. Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Merlot. Best after 2023. 7,666 cases made, 400 cases imported.
