A bit unusual to see a sauvignon blanc from this appellation, but it’s an excellent one. 50% barrel fermented, and with 4% semillon added, the wine is made similarly to a white Bordeaux, but has the bright, tangy fruit of New Zealand with grassy, snap pea accents. Lime, passion fruit and citrus-like acidity keep it fresh. Full-bodied. Drink now.
